She's the Queen of the Cutie Pies!

I seriously can't get enough of this little girl! She makes me soo happy! Most of you know that when I found out I was pregnant with her I freaked out just a little, but now I can't imagine what life would be like without her. She is 2 months old today! Can't believe how time flies. She is a great baby, she loves her sisters already and they love her. She sleeps at night, which is totally awesome. She has the sweetest smile in town, serious. And those dimples just make me want to squish her. The above photo was taken by Abby Kyhl of A&K studio design.

More pictures to come. I suck at blogging. Jason graduated from SUU - yay! I need to post pics from graduation. But, if you know me it may be another 2 months before I get those up. Ava is a Kindergarten grad :( Growing too fast! Savannah is on her way to 3rd grade and just had her 2nd grade program tonight and did an awesome job.

The newest member of our family

Introducing . . . . ALEXA MINER! Yes, it's another girl and we couldn't be happier!
Alexa was born Saturday March 20, 2010 at 8:07 a.m. weighing in at 7 lbs. 8 oz, 20.5 inches long. She's perfect!

I went 2 days over my due date. I was pretty miserable considering my other kids were born earlier than their due date. I only took one picture to document my misery . . . .

Labor was fast and I'm glad I was able to do it on my own. Since I was overdue we were going to have the doctor break my water on Friday, the 19th but labor and delivery called saying that all the beds were full and they didn't have room for me. About midnight Friday night or I guess saturday morning I started having contractions. We waited about 3 hours to go to the hospital until they were about 3.5 minutes apart. I progressed fast, so that was good. My doctor was sick and so someone else was covering for him, Dr. Newman. I really really liked him and I'm glad he was the one on call. He took really good care of me. This is the 2nd time that happened to me with Dr. Gatherum, he's an awesome doctor but when I had Leah he was on a fishing trip and wasn't there to deliver her either. It was fun not knowing what we were having. Everyone in the delivery room was excited to see the sex of the baby too. Jason played a huge part in my delivery as well. He was able to strait cath me twice once before the baby and then once after the baby. The doctor let him deliver the placenta, he said if he would've known beforehand that Jason was in the nursing program he would've let him deliver the baby too but he didn't find out until just after she was born. Jason was really confident and seemed to know what he was doing. We were not surprised when she was born and it was a girl! I was not disappointed at all, I love my little girls. Little Alexa is just soo sweet. I cried the first time I held her. There is nothing like the love of a baby. It's amazing how much you love them, even before you know them.

They have a new thing at the hospital where the dads get to bathe the baby right in the mother's delivery room after they are born. They've only been doing it a little over a year, it was the first time I've seen one of my babies bathed right after birth, it was awesome.

The girls were all so excited, Leah wasn't sure what to think when she came to the hospital. She wouldn't let me hold her or anything. I think it must've scared her to see me sitting in that hospital bed. She was really confused.

After our 2-day hospital stay and right when we were getting ready to come home we found out that the baby had a high level of jaundice and wasn't going to be able to leave the hospital, she needed to be under the bili lights for 24 hours. I ended up staying an extra day with her, I was ready to go home for sure but it was nice to get the rest I did.

Coming home . . . .

Thank you to my mom and dad who have helped me this last week SOO much! My mom stayed with the kids, took them to school and dance and other various activities. Thank you to all the people who brought in meals. It has been a huge help to me. It might take me a while to figure out what I'm doing with 4 kids! Overall, I feel very blessed. So thankful for sweet little babies who remind us how precious life is!

Worst Blogger in the World!

I've really let my blog go, I guess I just don't have much time anymore and it will probably get worst now that I have 4 kids. I neglected to make a post about Ava's 6th birthday and that is really bad. Ava is such a sweet girl and a total diva. For her 6th birthday she got to bring 3 of her friends to Funtime Inflatables. That was an experience, not sure if I will do a birthday party there again or not. She had a fabulous birthday. We're glad she's part of our family!

Ava with her poster she got to take to Kindergarten for her birthday.

Birthday party!

Funtime Inflatables - this was the part when she was actually having fun. The first hour we were there she was crying so hard! Too many big mean boys bouncing the little girls around.

Christmas and Savannah's 8th b-day!

Our Christmas break was very long, all of the kids and Jason got sick with a 24-hour flu bug, but each person had it twice so we would go one day with one person throwing up all day or night, be ok for a day or two, and then someone else would get sick with the barfs. I guess I should be glad that they weren't missing school, but we didn't really get to do anything too exciting because of it. I was the only one who didn't get it! Santa did find us and everyone was really happy on Christmas day. Jason turned 34 on Christmas Eve - man is he getting old or what?!? Savannah and Ava in their Christmas Jammies.
Leah in her Christmas jammies - man she's so cute!

Savannah had a Christmas program at her school and she got to shake the jingle bells while her class sang and she was quite proud of herself.
Savannah also turned 8 on the 28th of December. I cannot believe I have an 8-year-old! Where does the time go?!? She had 2 friends come with her to "The Princess and the Frog". I think she had a pretty good day and she is looking forward to getting baptized very soon. If you ask her what the highlight of her 8th birthday was she will tell you that her Aunt Anna gave her a perm. She has been asking for it for months now and I must say that she looks pretty darn adorable with it. I don't have a picture of her with it yet, but I will take one and post it soon. It has been so nice and easy to do, I even love it! She loved having the "salon experience". Thanks Aunt Anna for making her feel so special!
And I finally finished Leah's Christmas stocking! It took me too long not to share and post pictures! And I didn't post any other pics of Ava so I will post this one because she is such a diva! This girl is constantly singing and has taken quite a liking to Taylor Swift, really I think she might be a diva someday!

We saw our baby for the first time yesterday . . . .

But we didn't see any of its "gender parts". That's right - since it is our last we are keeping it a big surprise. Things look good though and the little jr. was just as lively as could be.

Most of the time he/she had his/her leg up like this just hanging out. He/she must be pretty acrobatic!

Toes to kiss! Even though I'm scared of my ability to take care of 4 kids, I got a little excited when I saw this cute little thing.
On a different note, if you scroll down you will see our Halloween pics. I entered Jason's into a photo contest and he won the category for "funniest" costume. Hey - I got a free 8 x 10 out of the deal.

Ava was a "Diva"

And Leah was a cute little piglet

Jason was dressed like a girl

And I went as myself . . . . A witch!
